Jae Kim

Jae is the third of my characters. She's an Opossum. The name "Jae" means "respect" in Korean, and is both a male and female name. The irony is that, Jae is disrespectful as a product of her upbringing. She is an orphan, and a former gang banger. Shuffled from foster home to foster home, and never truly feeling loved or wanted, she turned to what she thought would be a sense of community. She tends to dress more like a male in order to gain respect, but is as tough as nails. Her tattoo beneath her left eye is a dot and an inverted tear drop. In her former gang, this represents a death. However, since leaving her gang, she is hunted for being a "traitor", so she has since left her country in search of a clean slate, and a way to make amends.
